Cocoon is a design company and brand consultancy with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe. We have been helping our clients build brands through great thinking and great design for over a decade. We are also part of Mountain International, a network of agencies and consultancies based in Holland which focuses on creating complete branding and design solutions for its clients.History
Cocoon was founded in 1996 by Christien Van Yzendoorn and Petr Baca at a time when most packaging design was done either by full service advertising agencies in Prague or exported to international design firms. Over the last decade, Cocoon has grown from its initial 2 employees working out of a 1-room office focusing exclusively on packaging design, to over 50 employees in 3 countries serving some of the biggest brands in the world in a great many brand-related projects. Milestones along this path have been numerous international awards for design excellence, the beginning of our partnership with BR-ND People (2001), and our regional expansion to Moscow (2005) and Bucharest (2007).
